Practicing languages whilst planting flowers

April 19, 2019

This week, for the 1st time at Languages.lu, we introduced the seven young people from the French camp to plants, bulbs and seeds. Because we believe that learning how a bulb or a seed develops into a plant can be very powerful in creating awareness about each person’s impact on the future of our planet. In addition, it’s a great activity to do together whilst practicing #French!

The youth seemed to have enjoyed this activity so much that we will do it again with the children who will attend our camps in May during the school holidays (27-31 of May).

For those interested, you will find below

- for the younger ones, a great cartoon about gardening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-4J_0vpszM and

- for children aged 8 and above, an explanatory video about how a seed becomes a plant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkFPyue5X3Q.

Enjoy & happy Easter!
